Use Strong Passwords!

SitePoint.com has an article entitled Passwords: Most People Do It Wrong that reveals some interesting research about common passwords and user habbits.

Quick: What’s your password? Is it 123456? Is it password? Is it abc123? Is it your first name? Surprisingly, for a large number of users, those are the types of words being picked to safeguard private accounts. Not surprisingly, that’s a bad thing.

We’d like to take this opportunity to remind you about the importance of using strong passwords, and using different passwords for different sites you frequent so that if one is compromised your accounts aren’t all compromised. In Windows, we like to use Password Safe to generate and remember strong passwords. Since it remembers your passwords you can use harder to crack passwords. Give it a try today!
