The new Kenworth Employees Credit Union web site launched earlier this month. Kenworth CU was looking for something quick. The result was this “splash page” design we put together to meet their immediate needs, based on one of our SiteControl library themes.
Kent County Credit Union launched their new site last week. The new site brings an updated look and feel to kentcountycu.org as well as simplified navigation and a rotating fade-in/fade-out promotional section.
In the early stages of Internet Explorer 8 development, Microsoft planned on requiring every web site that used the proper web standards to include an additional, non-standard tag for the site to work as expected. Developers were frustrated with having to break from standards to get the benefit of using the established standards and Microsoft decided against this approach. Sitepoint has an interesting article about a recent addition to Internet Explorer 8 that is eerily similar the original plan.

Quick: What’s your password? Is it 123456? Is it password? Is it abc123? Is it your first name? Surprisingly, for a large number of users, those are the types of words being picked to safeguard private accounts. Not surprisingly, that’s a bad thing.
