Google Web Browser?

Google pulled a fast one today, suddenly releasing the beta version of its new browser, Chrome. The development of Chrome had been kept very quiet and was only recently leaked. It is an open source browser that has several innovative design concepts, not least of which being its multiple-process tabbed browsing. This means that, unlike IE or FireFox, when one of your tabs gets hung up, just that tab will crash out, not the entire application. There’s a bunch of other things that Chrome does differently, and you can read about most of them in Google’s epic 38-page graphic novel heralding the dawn of Chrome. So far, we’ve all been very impressed with Chrome’s speed.
