Internet Explorer 7 Now In Autoupdates

According to Ars Technica, Microsoft has begun placing Internet Explorer 7 into AutoUpdate rotation. If you don’t know browser compatibility is one of the most hardest parts of web development and there are plenty of rendering changes between IE6 and 7.

Web Services has already spot checked all of our Corporate website and check client websites has changes are requested and time permits. Generally, there have only been a few major changes we’ve had to make to accommodate our list of supported browsers.

One thing that I found interesting from the article is that the roll out is expected to extend through January 2007. Microsoft only updates 1% of English language Windows installations per day.
